RSVP – attendance confirmations

How guests reply to an invitation, the reply deadline and reminders.

What does RSVP mean?

RSVP stands for the French “Répondez s'il vous plaît” – “please reply”. In Fetka, it means confirming whether a guest will come to the event.

How does RSVP work in Fetka?

Guests open the personal link from their invitation and choose “I'll be there!”, “Can't make it” or “Maybe”, then – if needed – enter the number of people and answer any extra questions (for example about accommodation, transport or comments). The reply shows up on your guest list right away.

Does a guest need an account to RSVP?

No. The personal link from the invitation is all they need – no signing up, logging in or installing an app.

Which replies can a guest choose?

“I'll be there!”, “Can't make it” or “Maybe”. With “I'll be there!”, guests can enter the number of people (up to 20) and answer the form questions, and with any reply they can add a message for the organizer.

Can a guest change their reply?

Yes. The guest opens the same invitation link and clicks “Change your answer”. You see the current reply on your guest list and get a notification about the change.

Can I set an RSVP deadline?

Yes. When editing your event, you can set a specific date or a number of days before the event. Guests see the deadline in their invitation, so they know when to reply by.

How can I see who hasn't replied yet?

In the “Guests” tab, use the “No response” filter. You'll see a list of people who haven't accepted or declined – and you can send them a reminder right away.

Can I remind guests to RSVP?

Yes. In the “Guests” tab, you can send an email reminder to one person or to everyone who hasn't replied yet. For guests without an email address, remind them by text message or a messaging app by resending their personal link.

You send reminders manually – Fetka doesn't send them automatically.

What happens after the RSVP deadline?

The deadline is a guideline for guests – Fetka doesn't block replies once it has passed, so latecomers can still respond. If you want the list to be closed, let your guests know with an announcement.

Am I notified when a guest changes their reply?

Yes. A new or changed reply appears under the bell icon in your dashboard and immediately on your guest list.

Can I reply on behalf of a guest?

Yes. If a guest let you know by phone or in person, set their reply on the guest list. Fetka will record that the reply was entered by the organizer.

Can I ask guests extra questions?

Yes. The RSVP form includes questions tailored to the type of event – for a wedding, for example, about a plus-one, children, accommodation, transport and the day-after party. Your own set of questions and menu choices depend on your plan.
